Stephen Rochechats with Beth Honeycombe
Stephen Roche is a Toowoomba-based lawyer turned author and film producer.
As the co-founder of one of Australia’s largest and most successful plaintiff litigation firms, his career was built on fighting for the little guy and ensuring their story was told. Today he continues his work in civil and social justice in a way that fuses with the creative arts.
In interview he will reveal why he wrote his book Don’t Tell (which has since been made into an Australian film starring Rachel Griffiths and Jack Thompson) and how a young girl kept her sexual harassment a secret for more than 10 years.
He explains her turmoil and how the exposed cover-up brought down the highest office in the nation.
